december installment
It has been way too long as usual, since my last update. The big news around here is that the boys are going to be big brothers! We will find out on Christmas what we are having so are excited for that! So far this pregnancy has been pretty much the same as the others so who knows..boy or girl?
There are just too many updates for the kids so I am just going to try to highlight some of the coolness.
Daniel:
-"Let me show you something"
-Excitement in looking for Elfo every morning
-Asking most mornings if it's Christmas today and then promptly throwing a fit when it's not
-Loving on his baby brother
-"What do the _____ eat?" and "What does it do to you?" and "It has big teef it will bite you if you don't be nice to it"
-Elephant is the favorite animal and this included his Halloween costume
-Identifying the letters in his name and recognizing some sight words
-Reciting all the rules to his younger brother but not following them himself
-Trains, cars, Dumbo,
-Visit to the Train Museum
-Visit to Dell'Osso Farm including a train ride and visiting with animals
-Not crying on Santa's lap
-Tickles under the arm
-Adores his teacher
-Christmas list includes clickety clack trains Spencer and Percy, The Lion King movie, Dream Lite, Scooter
-Kisses and big hugs
-Extra "I love yous" and "good night" after he is in bed
-"Gadult" and "Gatel"
-Finger sucking
Ryan:
-"Elfo" and "Elmo"
-"Thank you Ryan" and "Sorry Ryan"
-Hitting his brother
-Glimpses of the lovely terrific twos
-Identifying body parts and naming some colors
-Singing part of the ABC song
-Counting to three
-"No" "Mine" and everyone's favorite "why"
-Hysterical visit to Santa
-"Choo choo. All bee-yah"
-Fast head shakes in the high chair
-Mad ball skills
-Scrunchy face "mommy" and "will"
-Tantrums after baths
-Animal sounds "meeeeoooowww" "neigh" "baaa" "rooooaaar" "moooo" and panting
-Excitement at pointing at the mouse and the house in Good Night Moon
-Acting like a monkey
-Trick or treating as a lion, refusal to wear his mane
-Tickles on the belly
-"shoes"
-Putting things away
-Pneumonia and ear infections
