What an amazing summer it has been and what a privilege it has been for me to watch my boys grow, have fun and develop into new stages.
Ryan has transformed from a new two year old to a robust 2.5 year old. He is sturdy, stubborn, sensitive, silly and quite a mama's boy. He is no longer a baby and is full toddler mode, bordering on being a preschooler. He repeats and copies everything Daniel does, which makes life interesting. He is quite tech savvy and adventurous as ever. Fiercely independent.
Daniel is turning into a kid right before my eyes. Seriously. Stop it. I have witnessed him mature emotionally and learn to calm himself down before going into total tantrum mode. He loves to help others and is eager to please. I have learned more about dinosaurs that I ever knew because of his, um, passion about them. He knows the different species and their characteristics. And his imagination...keeps himself entertained with his pretend play. He gets the best giggles out of Alex.
And then there's Alex. What the heck, 4 months old already?! No more newborn squish and I already miss that. Still loving his pacifier but has discovered his hands, so we'll see how this pans out. Grasping objects and playing with toys. Loves cuddling his blanket and also being wide awake at 4 am. Smiles and giggles and rolls over both ways. Oh and so he's mobile I guess. He's quite a loud talker, especially after his brothers go to bed. Sleep is a unknown. Some nights he sleeps until 3 or 4 and then back down until 7 and other nights, like last night he's up every 2-3 hours..
