37 weeks

I'm pretty excited to make it to full term! This is the longest I've been pregnant and also, it's my first day of maternity leave. Another thing going for us to deliver early is that my in laws are out of town. I had my 37 week appointment today and I'm 2 1/2 centimeters dilated and am considered "early labor" but that doesn't really mean anything. I could still go into labor today or in 4 weeks. Helpful, huh?

I have so far enjoyed my first day of maternity leave. The day included a doctor appointment (always nice to hear the heartbeat!), pedicure and some organization around the house. Not much as I get tired easily, but got a few things done. I'm hoping that this little guy will stay in for at least another week so I can get some rest, get some things done around the house and enjoy being a family of 3 for a little longer.

I haven't been feeling great. Lots of continued contractions and cramping and something I didn't experience last time in the third trimester, nausea. Oh and of course I feel like a whale so moving is not that fun. But it's all worth it. The past few days have felt similar to the few days before my water broke with Danny. Sleep has been hit or miss but that's to be expected. Plus I get tired so easily. Anyway, we'll see what this new little Lud has in mind for when he will decide to make his appearance!
